The Chess Club Pasta dinner was two days ago, and they gave out the annual awards. I was given the award for "Most Improved". It was a giant knight. Appropriate, right?
I was also given the trophy for our team at the nationals. We got twelfth place and the trophy is waist high. Waist high for 12th! It was pretty awesome.

Heh, funny thing about that... I am the club champion. There was someone much younger than me that was "Most valuable", since she got around 3 1st/2nd trophies.
